§ 10-1. Wards.

(a)

The city is hereby divided into four (4) wards, the boundaries whereof shall be as follows:

(1)

Ward Number One (1) shall comprise all that land lying within the city and situated in city election precincts 12B, 12C, 16A, 16B, 17C (including the Villa del Sol Subdivision) and 18.

(2)

Ward Number Two (2) shall comprise all that part of the city lying within city voting precincts 12A, 13, 14, 15, 17B and 30.

(3)

Ward Number Three (3) shall comprise all the part of the city lying within city voting precincts 1, 5, 6, 10, 11, 27, 28 and 29.

(4)

Ward Number Four (4) shall comprise all that part of the City of Laredo lying within city voting precincts 2, 3, 4A, 4B, 7, 8, 9, 19 and 26.

(b)

The boundaries of the above mentioned city voting precincts within each ward are set out in the "Order of Commissioners' Court of Webb County Reestablishing and Redefining Election Precincts" dated March 7, 1977, referred to in section 10-2 of this Code, establishing voting precincts for all of the city elections within the city.
