§ 12-19. Administrative rules and regulations.

  • The chief of the fire department shall promulgate administrative rules and regulations of the department, governing the assignments, conduct, equipment, duties, responsibilities and authority of all officers and employees of the department, in relation to the customary assignments in the department, and shall specify the kinds of uniforms to be worn and the times and conditions under which such uniforms shall be worn. All such rules and regulations in effect shall be complied and published under the direction of the chief of the fire department, and a copy of every rule and regulation to which he is subject shall be supplied to each member and employee of the department.
