§ 15-82. Public education.

(a)

The city manager or his designee shall:

(1)

Further develop a comprehensive tobacco education program to educate the public about the effect of tobacco and its addictive qualities and coordinate smoking prevention and tobacco education with other civic or volunteer groups.

(2)

Conduct informational activities to notify and educate businesses and the public about this chapter.

(b)

To implement this section, the city manager or his designee, department of health director may publish and distribute educational materials relating to this chapter to businesses, their employees, and the public.
