§ 16-38. Same—Certification to city attorney.

If the committee shall determine that a discriminatory housing practice has occurred and if a hearing before the committee on a complaint alleging such a violation of this article has been waived or if the committee has held a hearing and the efforts of the committee to secure voluntary compliance have been unsuccessful, the committee shall cause the administrator to certify in writing to the city attorney that such discriminatory housing practice has occurred and request the city attorney to forthwith prosecute such violation in the municipal court of the city.
