Article VI. [AMUSEMENT RIDE PERMITS] |
§ 18-28. Permit application and insurance required for amusement rides.
(a)
An amusement ride operator shall make an application for the operation and use for each amusement ride operated within the city. The annual fee for each permit application is twenty-five ($25.00) and shall be renewed annually and shall be non-refundable.
(b)
No person shall conduct, operate, manage or sponsor any amusement ride without first filing with the building services department the following:
(1)
A copy of the most recent inspection certificate associated with the amusement ride;
(2)
Evidence of insurance in compliance with the amounts required by Texas Occupations Code § 2151.101; and
(3)
Evidence the Texas Department of Insurance has issued a compliance sticker for the amusement ride.
