§ 19-431. Exceptions.

This division shall not apply to:

(1)

The movement or operation of overweight or oversize vehicles or superheavy or oversized equipment on a state maintained public highway inside the territory of the city;

(2)

Emergency vehicles operating in response to any emergency call;

(3)

Vehicles operated for the purpose of constructing or maintaining any public utility in the city;

(4)

Vehicles used exclusively to transport solid wastes so long as the operation is in accordance with Chapter 623, Subchapter H of the Texas Transportation Code, as amended;

(5)

Vehicles used exclusively to transport milk so long as they are operated in accordance with Chapter 622, Subchapter C of the Texas Transportation Code, as amended.

(6)

Manufactured houses that are required by sections 623.091—623.104 of the Texas Transportation Code, as amended, to have a permit, bond or license for the movement of such manufactured house.
