Article XIV. ITEMS PROHITITED AT CITY-SPONSORED PARADES |
§ 21-281. Hazardous items.
(a)
During parades in or through the City of Laredo, it shall be unlawful for any person to sell or use upon or near parade participants or spectators a pressured container capable of emitting a substance that can be directed at or upon parade participants or spectators. Said substance is commonly known as, but is not limited to, "liquid string," "silly string," or "super string."
(b)
During parades in or through the City of Laredo, it shall be unlawful for any person to sell or use upon or near parade participants or spectators any quantity of the small explosive devices commonly known as, but not limited to, "snappers," "throwdowns," and "pop pops," which are products containing a minute quantity of explosive powder and producing a small report upon impact with hard surfaces.
