§ 25-4. City's right to connect with private sewers.

The city shall have the right at all times, through the city engineer or inspector of plumbing and drainage, to connect with and use any private sewer built upon a public street, alley or highway and to use the same for any public purpose; and the city shall have the right to reconstruct or close up or disconnect any private sewer which may, from any cause, have become a nuisance.
