§ 25-67. Revocation of permit.

  • (a)

    Should the plumbing inspector become convinced that the work under any permit is not proceeding according to the detailed applications and plans upon which such permit was issued, but is proceeding in violation of the provision of this chapter, it shall be his duty to notify the contractor or owner, in writing, that the work is being constructed or installed in violation of the permit and this chapter; and that the same must be rectified to conform to same within three (3) days from the date of such notice.

    (b)

    If the owner or contractor neglects to comply with this chapter or fails to make correction within such prescribed time, it shall be the further duty of the plumbing inspector to revoke such permit, and notice thereof shall be immediately served upon the owner, superintendent or contractor in charge of the work. Such notice shall be in writing, signed by the plumbing inspector; and after such revocation of permit, any contractor or workman performing any work in or about such structure shall be subject to the penalty provisions of section 1-6 of this Code.
