Chapter 34. FINANCIAL INTERESTS OF CITY EMPLOYEES

§ 34-9. Severability.

If any provision, section, clause, sentence or phrase of this chapter is held by any court or by any federal or Texas agency of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unconstitutional as conflicting with any federal, state, or City Charter provision now or hereafter in effect or is held by such court or agency to be modified in any way to conform to the requirements of any such provision, the conflicting provision of this chapter shall be considered a separate, distinct and independent part of this chapter, and such holding shall not affect the validity and enforceability of this chapter as a whole, or any part other than the part declared to be invalid.
