§ 5.5-15. Suspension, revocation of permits.

(a)

The permit officer is authorized to suspend, for any period of time not to exceed thirty (30) days, or revoke any permit authorized by this chapter, if the holder of the permit violates this chapter on any state law or city ordinance which is in any way related to the functions or purposes of this chapter.

(b)

Every suspension or revocation of a permit shall be in writing and state the reason for such suspension or revocation and shall be dated. A copy of the suspension or revocation order in writing shall immediately be sent by certified mail to the holder of the permit at the address indicated on the application for permit or the latest renewal thereof. Such order of suspension or revocation shall be effective as of the time of receipt at the permittee's address.
