§ 5.5-2. Permit required.

It shall be unlawful for any person, as owner or agent, to be engaged in the business of providing ambulance service within the corporate limits of the city unless the owner of the business holds a current ambulance operator permit issued pursuant to this chapter. It shall be unlawful for any holder of an ambulance operator permit, or his agent, to provide ambulance service by means of an ambulance which has not been approved and listed on the ambulance operator permit by the permit officer.
