§ 5-2. Late-hour possession and consumption.

(a)

The city council hereby adopts the provisions of section 105.06 of the Alcoholic Beverage Code authorizing the late hour possession and consumption, but not sale, in a public place of alcoholic beverages within the city limits as set out in paragraph (b) of this section.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person in the city to consume any alcoholic beverage in any public place or for any person to possess any alcoholic beverage in any public place for the purpose of consuming the same in such public place at any time on Sunday between the hours of 2:15 a.m. and 12:00 noon, and on all other days at any time between the hours of 2:15 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
