§ 6-44. Newly annexed areas.

If any person is keeping any small animals or fowl in an area outside the city limits, on the date the area whereon the small animals or fowl are being kept shall be annexed to the city if other than agriculturally zoned, that person shall be allowed to those particular small animals or fowl upon the location wherein they were being kept, as of the date of such annexation, for a period of not more than two (2) years from the date of such annexation, without regard to any other provisions of this chapter. Thereafter, the provisions of this chapter shall apply in full.
