§ 7-3. Fire limits established.

No person shall hereafter build or construct any house or other building of lumber or other inflammable material within the portion of the city north of the Rio Grande River, west of Interstate Highway 35, south of the Texas-Mexican Railway track, and east of Santa Rita Avenue, and in addition, that area west of Santa Rita Avenue having the following boundary:

From the intersection of Santa Rita and Hidalgo, west two (2) blocks to Santa Isabel, then south along Santa Isabel to the Rio Grande River, then westerly along the Rio Grande River to where Eagle Pass Avenue meets the river; then northward along Eagle Pass Avenue to Grant, then westward along Grant to Evans, then northward to the south boundary line of Forth McIntosh boundary to Callaghan Street, then eastward, two (2) blocks to the intersection of Pinder, then south to Coke Street, then east to Eagle Pass Avenue, then north to Callaghan Street, then east to Santa Rita, then south to the point of beginning.
