§ 9-10. Community bulletin boards.

  • (a)

    The community bulletin board is available for public service announcements (PSAs), non-commercial messages.

    (b)

    Procedures.

    (1)

    Announcement submissions forms are available the public access studios. Completed forms may be mailed, faxed or delivered to PAC.

    (2)

    Announcements should be received by noon Wednesday of the week prior to scheduled bulletin board to be cablecast.

    (3)

    The person submitting an announcement must provide their name, phone number and the name of the organization they represent.

    (c)

    Content requirements.

    (1)

    The announcement text should include: who, what, where, when and "For more information contact (name) and (phone number).

    (2)

    In cases where a phone number and address of any individual or organization is used, written permission for such use must be given by the individual or organization being named in the PSA.

    (3)

    Announcements must have a start date and stop date.

    (4)

    Announcements may not include ticket prices but may state "For ticket information, call (phone number)."
