§ 11-2. Code—Adopted.

The National Electrical Code, 2011 edition, providing rules and regulations and requirements for the installation of electrical wiring and apparatus, is hereby adopted as a standard for the installation of all electrical wiring and apparatus and fixtures, except as otherwise specifically provided in this chapter; and is made a part of this chapter, as if set out herein in full; however, should there be any conflict between the provisions of this chapter and the National Electrical Code, the provisions of this chapter shall govern and control. The city shall enforce V.T.C.A., Occupation Code ch. 1305, administrated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.
