§ 19-11. Fee for dismissal of traffic cases in municipal court.

The municipal court of the city is authorized to collect a fee in the amount of ten dollars ($10.00) to cover the services performed when a case is dismissed because a defendant has completed a "defensive driving course" under the provisions of Vernon's Ann. Civ. St. art. 6701d, § 143A. The municipal court judge is expressly authorized to impose a fee of up to ten dollars ($10.00) to cover services performed when a case is dismissed as described above.
