§ 2-6. Use of city seal.

Latest version.

(a)

No person, corporation, partnership, or other legal entity may use the corporate seal and/or the emblem, insignia, design and coat of arms thereon, for direct or indirect financial gain without entering into a written contract with the city for that purpose.

(b)

Any contract entered into pursuant to this section must be approved by the city council.

(c)

Any person in violation of this section shall be subject to a fine in accordance with section 1-6 of this Code of Ordinances.
