§ 32-96. Citizen complaints.

  • (a)

    Tow service notice. All authorized and permitted tow services shall notify consumers and service recipients of the name, mailing address, and telephone number of the police for purposes of directing complaints to the police. The wrecker operators may use a sticker or rubber stamp to convey the required information. The notification shall be included on:

    (1)

    Any written tow services slip or ticket;

    (2)

    A sign prominently displayed at the tow services place of payment; or

    (3)

    Any bill for the tow service.

    (b)

    Police review. The police shall receive and investigate complaints by citizens against the tow services and take appropriate action against such tow service if needed.
